I have no idea. What kind of SSD do you have? I'm getting a 1TB SSD for $259! :D

I've had it for about five months.

I just benchmarked it and took a screenshot. It's quite a bit faster than the Samsung 840 it replaced.

Ah okay cool. I'm trying to be very picky. I bought a 256GB Crucial M2 or something several years ago and it failed after 6 months. But Samsung seems like it makes good SSDs. They are selling the most on Newegg and also got good ratings.... :)

Well the last one I had the Samsung 840 lasted 5 years and only showed 14TB of writing. They start failing at 300TB so I gave it to my nephew and it's still going strong.

I almost bet they last much longer than they are rated for.
